Neoprene is a soft yet durable material that requires gentle care to maintain its sleek look and longevity. Follow these steps to keep your neoprene bag in top condition:
• Avoid spot cleaning, as this can cause water ring stains. Instead, we recommend cleaning the entire surface with a damp cloth, mild soap, and cold water.
• Gently wipe the neoprene with a soft cloth or sponge, working out any stains in circular motions
• Reshape while damp and lay flat to dry on a clean, non-porous surface. Avoid placing it on dyed or treated surfaces to prevent colour transfer.
• Avoid exposure to alcohol, acetone, and oils, as they can break down the neoprene.
• Be mindful of dark fabrics like denim, as they may transfer colour onto lighter bags.
• Avoid overexposure to sunlight, heat, and moisture, as these elements can affect the look and feel of the material.
• Pilling may occur over time with friction but can be easily removed using a shaver or sweater stone.
• Creases can be smoothed out with light steaming in downward strokes
The Signature Nappy Backpack in Neoprene is machine washable.
• Please place the bag inside a care bag or old pillowcase to prevent damage to the hardware or pilling. Wash separately to minimise friction.
• Use a gentle/delicates cycle with cold water.
• Use a small amount of mild detergent. We recommend wetsuit detergent or baby shampoo for neoprene. Do not bleach.
• Allow to completely air-dry on a flat surface. Do not hang to dry as this may stretch the neoprene. If there are any creases after drying, you can use a gentle steamer to smooth these out.
Avoid over-washing. Hand cleaning is preferred for minor marks.
Warning: Detach the bag and accessories from stroller before removing your child to prevent stroller from tipping and injuring your child.
