This is what the creator of OiOi, Lisa Bennetts - mum of now owner, Isabella - thought back in 1997 when she searched for a design that didn’t compromise on style. She tried as she could and was unable to settle on one she liked.

And that’s when OiOi was born.

Originally styling her design from cardboard cutouts, she worked on her creation and sold her first five hundred nappy bags within a month of launching. Using cardboard cutouts to help her nail own the design to get the perfect size and number of compartments, she carefully crafted a concept that later became the brand’s signature look.
